ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSE FOR SPEAKERS OF INDIAN LANGUAGES
This Course is for persons who can speak their regional languages (e.g. Marathi, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Konkani, etc) but wish to be able to converse in English.
BEING PERSON SPECIFIC, THE CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO HAVE A PERSONAL MEETING WITH OUR COURSE CO-ORDINATOR TO DISCUSS THE REQUIRMENTS OF THE INDIVIDUAL’S SPECIFIC NEEDS.

COURSE CONTENTS
General English
The focus is on practical communication skills, with emphasis on speaking , including pronunciation and listening.
New language vocabulary, idioms and grammar is introduced and practiced in interesting and stimulating ways.
SOCIAL ENGLISH
You will learn language useful for your everyday social, study or work life – taking part in discussion, conversations, presenting information and telephoning.

YOUR PRESENT LEVEL OF ENGLISH
Basic: I do not understand or speak any English
Intermediate: I can understand and speak basic English in familiar situations
Advanced: I understand and can speak quite well in familiar everyday situations.
