It is therefore paramount to know how to persuade at a personal level. Handling confrontation, building rapport, listening, and questioning skills are all included in this practical and immensely beneficial Course.
This course provides participants with the opportunity to understand how communication works and how to communicate with confidence and flair.
You’ll look at what works about the way you communicate, what gets in the way of you being more effective, and then a raft of tools and techniques to help you be more adept and self-assured.
This is a practical Course filled with exercises and discussion which will give you skills to handle difficult and tricky situations and give you more choice in the way you communicate with others.

From looking at the effect of our listening skills to creating the first and the lasting impression we choose, we will offer a range of tools and techniques that can really make a difference.
EYE CONTACT
Vital to our communications is eye contact and its effect upon the communication dynamic. Back to assumptions again, but what do we make of those who avoid looking at us directly or else those who seem to hold our gaze too long? We will discover what happens when we deny or intensify our eye contact in difficult communications. Our intention will be to uncover what the most effective ways might be to approach the situation next time.
DIFFICULT SITUATIONS
Throughout the day’s participants will have applied some of our exercises to their real-life experiences. Where we have extra time we might also look to recreate communications when they were unsatisfied with the outcome.
The idea is that we will draw upon any of the tools and techniques covered over the course. Working to Your Strengths
Everyone will give a brief description of what they already do that they know works about them. They will then have chance to reflect upon how others see them through the feedback of others.
SUPPORT
The final exercise is for each delegate to devise a personal Plan of Action, identifying their personal take-out of the program, where they know they will practice, and areas for their development. Effective Communication Skills Training Course will help you to express yourself more effectively, have more influence with your colleagues, and appear more confident in front of others.
This is a highly practical and interactive course. You will be working both individually and in small groups on a variety of vocal and practical exercises, interactive discussions, and role-plays throughout the day.
