Computerised Systems (CRS)

This module is designed for those who intend to work in an Airline or Travel Agency, where computers are now widely used. The STENODAC Simulated Airline Reservation System will allow students to practice making reservations, check flight schedules and fares, determine space availability and use the computer’s additional capabilities because we believe it is a necessary part of our travel career training. Today virtually all airlines and many travel agencies use computers.

The IATA/ UFTAA Global Distribution Systems (GDS) Training Course is an independent computer-based training (CBT) course that will allow you to gain working knowledge of a Global Distribution System as used by travel agencies and major airlines to make flight, hotel, car and other reservations. The course uses realistic GDS simulation to teach and explain entries, and the concepts behind them. STENODAC teaches AMADEUS / GALILIO / SABRE or the newly introduced WORLDSPAN.

There is currently a huge demand worldwide for professionally qualified travel staff, particularly those who have been professionally trained to deal with the complexities of International airline ticketing sales.

STENODAC’S CRS Course has been specifically designed for this segment of the job market and gives comprehensive training in the management, computing and airline ticketing skills that are required by the industry.

The course is particularly suited for those seeking employment with Travel Agencies, Tour Operators and all Airlines and also for those who would eventually like to open their own travel agency.

STENODAC also offers the popular “DIPLOMA in NATIONAL / INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES and TRAVEL AGENCY MANAGEMENT COURSE.”

STENODAC also conducts special Tutoring for those wishing to answer any IATA/FIATA Examinations, including Foundation, Consultant and Cargo-related Programs.
